the rocks cry out…

I have been lost yet again in beauties, wandering through the histories of the earth painted in rainbow palettes of ancient rock.

Whether you believe in God, or not, however you conceive of creation, it is impossible not to feel something leap high when you look on the temples the earth builds to the sky.

There is praise in a footfall, in the quiet breath that says Amen with wordless eloquence, with heart grown past thought.

The rocks cry out and it is hard not to be humbled, lifted, lost, found.
